stuck? need a hand?
obey these rules...
these games are meant to take time and effort, some levels may take you hours or days - don't expect to solve everything right away, don't ask for hints right away
- before asking for hints, do your research and make use of tools, e.g. dCode
- try every possible idea you get, however unlikely, too obvious, or unexpected it may seem at first
- no one is there to think for you - we can only try to help get you thinking again
- when asking for help in the open (forum thread, discord channel) avoid any spoilers
- don't post the link to the level you're on
- don't post details about what you have found
- don't ask too specific questions
- don't spoil the fun for others who will come after you
- don't send private messages to random players
- before asking for help over a private message or chat, make sure the person you're writing can and is willing to help you
- when in doubt, ask in the open if someone could give you a push over a private message
- when asking for help in private, include the name of the riddle, the level, and what you have found or tried so far
- you may be asked to send the link to the level you're discussing to refresh the other person's memory
- helping works best if you already have some idea and want to confirm if it's the right track, or if you're missing something
- don't expect receiving explicit hints or full answers
- remember the other person is human, too - you may not receive a response within five minutes of asking
