no one is there to think for you - we can only try to help get you thinking again

when asking for help in the open (forum thread, discord channel) avoid any spoilers
don't post the link to the level you're on
don't post details about what you have found
don't ask too specific questions
don't spoil the fun for others who will come after you

don't send private messages to random players
before asking for help over a private message or chat, make sure the person you're writing can and is willing to help you
when in doubt, ask in the open if someone could give you a push over a private message
when asking for help in private, include the name of the riddle, the level, and what you have found or tried so far
you may be asked to send the link to the level you're discussing to refresh the other person's memory
helping works best if you already have some idea and want to confirm if it's the right track, or if you're missing something
don't expect receiving explicit hints or full answers
remember the other person is human, too - you may not receive a response within five minutes of asking
